God says I am … created with a purpose.

What’s your purpose?

It’s a big question with deep significance. Maybe it stirs up anxiety or causes your heart to race, especially if you’re not sure how to answer it. You may not feel like you have a purpose. Or you may feel you’ve lost it a long time ago. Disappointment often clouds our sense of purpose—a dream fell apart, a job you loved didn’t work out, or life just didn’t follow the path you hoped it would.

Your purpose isn’t limited to your circumstances, titles, or timelines. It’s not tied to whether you get the job, the relationship works out, or you get the recognition you deserve.

Your purpose existed before you were even born, a purpose that you’ll never outgrow: to glorify God and honor Him with your whole life.

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) says it like this: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”.

We are called to do good—but not only for the sake of being good. It’s about living out the purpose God prepared for you, with a heart that desires to serve Him.

In Psalm 57:2 (ESV), it says: “I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me”. He has a purpose for your life—and He’s committed to seeing it through.

But He won’t force it. You still have a choice. Will you accept His calling and step into what He designed for you? Or will you choose to spend your days denying your purpose and living life on your own terms?

God made you on purpose and for a purpose. His invitation is open. Will you say yes?

Dear Lord,

Thank You for creating me with a purpose. I am so grateful my earthly goals and achievements are not the proof of a successful life. Help me to overflow with a desire to serve You and the people I come in contact with and reveal how I can glorify You with my life.
