A Book Of Remembrance: Wisdom From The AgesSample

“Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools.”
-Napoleon Bonaparte-
Even though Napoleon Bonaparte was a ruthless dictator, he was not only one of History’s greatest military commanders, but he was also one of the most brilliant minds of his time. You can see that easily from the quote you just read. It seems to match todays Bible verse perfectly!
Napoleon’s reasoning was flawed, however, as his mind was geared towards destruction. God’s mind, on the other hand, is aimed at producing life to its fullest extent! Nothing good is impossible if you have God in your corner. Sure, sometimes it may take a while to see results. Just ask Abraham when you meet him! We can always count on Him to deliver on His promises, and that’s a guarantee. Only a fool would think otherwise! (Psalm 14:1)
Our God always makes a way for us to perform his will. He is the God of open doors, and nobody can shut a door that He opens! (Revelation 3:7)
So, for today, let us believe in the impossible to happen. Let us lay a seemingly unconquerable habit at the foot of the cross. Let us deliver an unbeatable problem to the hosts of heaven. Let us have faith in the One who made us, and do the impossible.
