Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year OneSample

Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways (Psalm 128:1).
Are you walking in God’s ways?
God is no respecter of persons; He blesses everyone who fears Him. The wise man informs us, “The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22). God honors the work of our hands (Psalm 128:2) and our family when we revere Him. We are told, “Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the very heart of your house; Your children like olive plants all around your table” (Psalm 128:3). “Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine,” writes the poet about the godly man, and “your children like olive plants.” Unlike grass, which quickly grows and dies, he equates the godly with a “fruitful vine” and “olive plants” that have staying power. Remember, “thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD” (Psalm 128:4).
Employment Point: Revere God, and He’ll bless your family.
