The psalmist shows us that there is hope when we call upon the Lord because there is no one like Him. He is the only one able to show us mercy and his mercy frees us from our sin, shame, and the things we aren’t proud of. Therefore, we can put our hope in him. It is easy to get caught up in what's going on at school, at home, or even with your friends and forget the power found in what God has done for you. This is why we need to remind ourselves of what he’s done. Take some time to remind yourself of God’s love for you. His love is steadfast or never changing; his love for you is the same every single day. That is why we can put our hope in him.

Take a moment to think about the way God has worked in your life and the way he’s been faithful to you. Thank him that his love is all you need.
