The Will of God: Part 2Sample

To Know God's Will We Must Lift Our Soul to Him in Surrender
- What does the Psalmist do first thing in the morning? What does he ask for?
- What does “lifting up my soul” mean? What was he doing with his own will by saying that?
- Does he see knowing God’s will as immediate or a process? How does that relate to our sanctification?
- Who has God the Father given us to lead us in His will?
- To be in God’s will, how must we see ourselves in comparison to Him?
- What are the adversaries of your soul?
Take time to meet with the Lord in the morning to rest in His love. This may not mean this is where you engage in deep Bible Study. It is a time to prepare for your day: to be filled with His love; to submit your day to Him in surrender; to ask the Lord to deliver you from your temptations and enemies; to listen and learn what He might want you to do today; to invite the Holy Spirit to lead you throughout your day in a way that you do not stumble and fall into sin; to begin the day seeing yourself as His servant. Then, see what happens!
