The Will of God: Part 2Sample

Jesus Surrendered to God's Will so that We Can Have Eternal Life
- What is God’s will for Jesus?
- It’s not about submitting to God’s will because we are sinners. Even Jesus, God the Son, surrendered and submitted to God the Father’s will. Do you think this means we will be submitting to God’s will for all eternity (even in heaven)? God is teaching us how to do this now on earth because we will be doing this even in heaven!
- Twice Jesus mentions “raise it up” or “raise him up” on the last day. What is He talking about?
- What will happen to us when we are “raised up”? How does this fit in with God’s will for us?
Thank God for sending Jesus so that we can have eternal life. Thank Him that we will be raised up on the last day and be fully sanctified and made holy. We will be fully in the will of God for all eternity after that! Ask God to help you to submit to Him even when you don’t know why or don’t want to.
