The Will of God: Part 2Sample

The Holy Spirit Knows and Prays the Will of God Into Our Lives
- What do we learn about ourselves in this passage?
- What do we learn about God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit? How do you see the trinity engaging in “the will of God” on our behalf?
- What spiritual discipline must we continue to engage in and grow in alongside the Holy Spirit?
- How is it related to being in “the will of God”?
- How does being “conformed to the image of His Son” fit into the proper understanding of the “will of God”?
Take time to think about our weaknesses (areas we need to be sanctified in), be aware of them, and then talk to the Lord about them and ask Him to conform you into being more like Jesus. If you are unaware of what areas you really need to grow in, ask the Holy Spirit to unveil your eyes and show you an area you need to grow in. Thank God that He not only called you to Himself, but that you are justified by Jesus’ death on the cross (just as if I’d never sinned) and His desire for you is to be glorified alongside Him!
