The Will of God: Part 2Sample

God's Will for Us is to Engage in the Harvest to Accomplish His Work
- What does food do for our bodies? How is doing God’s will like food for our bodies?
- How often do we need food to stay nourished and healthy? How often do you think we need to do the will of the Father to stay spiritually healthy?
- What if we put off doing His will for a season because we see it as a “down time” or even “start-up time” in our life? (ie. summer break, vacations, starting a new career, having young children) What might happen to our spiritual health?
- What is God’s work that He wants us to accomplish and be a part of?
- Where are you sowing seeds (of the gospel, of His truth, of His Word) and where are you trying to reap (leading people to Him, encouraging them to grow in Him)?
Think about spending time with the Lord as nourishment for your soul, not a task to do each day. As you spend time with Him, He will guide you on what His work for you is that day. He will give you the strength to accomplish it. He will show you how to care spiritually for others. Ask Him to show you more clearly where you can sow seeds of the gospel and where you can reap lives for His Kingdom.
