The deepest desire of John’s heart was to bring glory to God. He wanted desperately for people to believe and receive Jesus. He knew in order to do that, Jesus had to become greater and he had to become less. The world didn’t recognize Jesus and people today still don’t. We can help by being like John. We can share our story and make a bigger deal of who God is than who we are. We can share with our family members, neighbors, friends at school, etc. so they too can become children of God. Being a child of God is a permanent adoption granted to those who believe in Him.

2. What does it mean to you to be called a “Child of God?”

"We get hype for Jesus," but why? What's so amazing about this Jesus guy? Is He really worth living for? Is He really who He says He is? "Kamp Kids John Study" was written as a 60 day devotional to keep kids engaged with Jesus and His heart, especially after coming back from "kamp" or an amazing encounter with our living God.
