In Control 

Sir Isaac Newton was the scientist who discovered the law of gravitation. He had a friend who never believed in God. Whenever Newton said that God created the universe, he would have a hearty laugh. One day, in his laboratory, Newton made a model of the universe with gears and wheels. He made all the planets of the universe to revolve just like it is in the universe. His friend saw it and said, “Hi Newton, how beautifully it moves in unison. How do these things move?” Newton said, “It just revolves on its own.” His friend said, “How is it possible for it to move on its own? There must be someone who created it.” Then Newton said, “Yes, if the model needs someone to make it revolve, how true it is that there should be someone to make the real planets, stars, moon, sun revolve!” Newton continued to say, “It is God.” That man bowed down his head and said, “Now, I believe, there is a God.” 

When you look at this vast universe and all that is in it, you cannot stop praising God. His wisdom, creative power and authority are immeasurable. God is in control of them. All His creations reveal His majesty. Take time to mull over His creations. You are in His thoughts. Your life is controlled by Him. 

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, I am amazed when I look around and see Your wonderful creations. Who am I Lord that You are mindful of me? I believe that You are in control over my life. So, I surrender my all. You rule me. Lead me into victory. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
