Arise and Go 

There lived a couple in South Africa in the 1990s. He was a South African and his wife was a British citizen. God told them to go to England. They obeyed His call and went to England. But they didn’t understand why God called them to England. They didn’t have anything when they arrived in England. Their pockets were empty. They didn’t have any contacts or church and were literally left with nothing. One night, God woke them up and spoke to them saying, “Launch a Christian television in Europe.” In their penury, they took the responsibility upon themselves and prayed over it. God blessed them and enabled them to begin two television channels and they are broadcasting the gospel to 62 nations in Europe, throughout the year. 

Obedience is all that God desires. He will do wonders. God is glorified through His children’s obedience. Beloved, have you received any specific commission from God? Obey Him immediately. Today, let His light shine into your heart and find out if anything is left undone for His kingdom. Fullest satisfaction is found only in doing His blessed will. Arise and go. 

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, I regret my days of disobedience to Your precious calling. I surrender myself for Your blessed will to be done through me. Let Your kingdom come. Let the light of salvation shine. May the body of Christ be edified and built together as God’s dwelling place. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
