Blessing For Todayគំរូ

The Bridegroom
In Africa, there is a particular village which has a peculiar custom. To find a suitable life partner for a girl, this custom is put to practice. The village head would ask all the young men, “Who is willing to marry this girl?” Youngsters who were willing to marry her will have to participate in a competition. The one who bears maximum number of lashes with a whip, will be the one who would win the girl’s hand. They followed this custom to see whether he would be able to take care of that girl during his life time.
Beloved, in the same way, Jesus took the whip lashes for you. From the garden of Gethsemane to the cross, He was whipped and scourged. His blood poured out of His body. At last, blood and water gushed out. Why did He have to suffer so much? Only to betroth you to Himself permanently. He is your bridegroom. You are the bride. Jesus calls you “My beloved. You are beautiful in His sight. There is no flaw in you.”
If He suffered so much on the cross, would He not take care of you? Surely He will. With this assurance, sing your way into this day. Your bridegroom is by your side.
Prayer
“Loving heavenly Father, I thank You for giving Your only son Jesus Christ as an atonement for the sins of the world. Jesus, thank You for bearing the scourging and sufferings on the cross. Through Your sacrifice, You have purchased me eternally for Yourself. Adorn me with Your love. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
‘A bride always rejoices in the presence of her bridegroom’

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
