Blessed Food 

Once there was a little girl who was allergic to fish. One day, her father was tempted to eat fish and asked his wife to cook fish. He thought he could finish eating it before she came back from school. So his wife quickly cooked the fish and when he was about to eat it, the little girl came running from school and said, “Dad, I can smell fish. All these days I didn’t eat fish. Will you give me some fish?” The father didn’t know what to do. He was very confused. After a while, he kept all the food before her. He blessed that food and thanked God for the fish and prayed earnestly that it wouldn’t do any harm to her. The little girl ate fish that day and she didn’t get any rashes after that. Even after many days had passed, she didn’t get any allergic reaction. 

Beloved, God does not want you to be sick. The Bible also says that food is blessed through prayer and the word of God. Do not forget to bless your food and provision with a word of prayer. God’s promise of blessing will remove all harm from your food and it will give health to your body. Similarly, bless everything by saying a word of prayer and claim His promises. It will protect you and bless you. God’s word purifies your food and water. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I praise You for You are the source of all blessings. You are the giver of good gifts. Today, bless my food, water and everything I do in the name of Jesus. Bless them for Your glory. Remove every harm from it. Thank You for the blessing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
