It’s a Goal

Every believer runs his/her own race. Each of us is a winner. We should run in such a way that we will receive the prize.

There was a hockey player called Dhyan Chand. He is remembered for his quick goal scoring and for winning three Olympic gold medals for India. When he was playing, India would win all the tournaments. Whenever he got the ball he would carry it with his stick and nobody could take the ball away from his stick. He would never stop till the ball reaches the goal. He was such a great player for India. His only aim was to reach the goal with the ball. So, whatever hindrances came his way, he would not waver for his eyes would be fixed only on the ball. This was how he would win all the matches.

The same kind of winner is with you too. Yes my friend, God’s hand will guide you until you reach the glory. Let not your heart be troubled. This world is full of distractions. It will not let you reach your goal. Satan is very cunning and as the Bible says, ‘he comes only to steal and to kill.’ He will wait on the brink to separate you from the love of God. But you must keep your eyes fixed on Jesus so that you will be able to reach your goal. Jesus is waiting for you on the other side; so keep walking towards Him.

Prayer

“Loving Father, You are the fountain of blessing. I know that You will fulfill my heart’s desire. Preserve me from all evil. Let my love for you increase more and more. Abide with me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

‘Set your eyes on Jesus and keep going’

Blessing For Today

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work.  We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
