God’s Word 

A family from the United Kingdom travelled to a Far East country to spend their holidays. They were happily swimming in the sea. Suddenly, a little girl in their family saw the ocean receding from the shore. She remembered what her Geography teacher had told her and shouted, “Papa! Mama! I know this water will come back with great fury. That is what my teacher had taught me. Let us run away from here! Disaster is coming. Let us run away!” She cautioned her family members. Immediately, the family members also shouted to the others, “Come on, let us run. There is danger” cautioning hundreds of tourists who were close by as everyone reached a highland. As soon as they reached the top of a nearby mount, the water vehemently rushed back with great fury and destroyed many people. However, those who heeded the word of the little child were safe. The right word at the right time from the mouth of a little girl, saved many people’s lives. 

My friend, the Word of God has the power to change your destiny. His Word is living and active. It is sharper than a two-edged sword that pierces hearts. His Word is like the rain that comes forth and wets the dry lands. Yes, pray to Him asking for His Word to operate in your lives. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, You are an amazing God. Your word has the power to change my circumstances. Father, I pray that Your word would bring blessings in my life. Let it operate in my life from today. This I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
