He Will Carry You 

Our Lord God is a God of both the young and the old alike. It doesn’t matter who you are; He promises to carry you even when your life is falling apart. 

A few years back, I read a beautiful story about a small girl. She was waiting for her dad to come home as it was her mother’s birthday. She was lame and so she was sitting in a wheel chair and looking out for her dad. Her dad came with a beautiful gift in his hand. The little girl was so excited and said “Dad, mummy is upstairs. Give me the gift; I will take it to her.” The father’s heart broke. He said “My darling, why do you break my heart? How can you carry it upstairs?” She said “Dad, I can hold the present. You can carry me to mom. I will kiss her and make her happy.” And the father carried her with great joy. 

My friend, Jesus also carries you in the same manner. He will lift you up in His arms and carry you over all the hurdles. Today ask the Lord your God to help you, comfort, strengthen and keep you. God promises you to carry you till the very end. He is willing to support you. Jesus says, “I have made you. I will carry you. I will sustain you and will rescue you.” So do not be anxious. 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, thank You for carrying me throughout my life. Thank You for You sustain me every day and rescue me from all sufferings. Lord, I pray in Jesus name for Your grace to surround me so that I will not let go of Your hand. Amen.”
