Just on Time 

When my sister Angel died, we were so heartbroken. One day, the Lord spoke to us through the Holy Spirit. He said, “My children I am also crying with you. Don’t think that I am a heartless God. But if I tell you the reason why I allowed this, you may not understand. When the right time comes, you will know it.” 

Yes my friend, in our most difficult situations, God too weeps with us. The incident of Lazarus’ death must have shaken the town of Bethany as the people knew the family was good friends with Jesus. But Jesus never turned up even after knowing that Lazarus was very sick. People around Martha and Mary must have wept and also murmured about Jesus’ delay. But as you read, Jesus was also groaning over His friend and He says, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 

My beloved, it is true that Jesus let Lazarus die but His reasons were good and glorious. Even in your life if God allows failures, losses and tears, it is for a glorious purpose. He watches while you cry and He too cries along with you. You will not understand why He allowed it at present but He will be there just in time to rescue you. So be encouraged! 

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, I thank You for giving this word of encouragement today. Lord, now I know that You have a purpose for all the things happening in my life. I thank You Father for it is to glorify Your Son Jesus Christ. Give me the grace to handle every situation with the help of the Holy Spirit. This I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
