Rightful Heir 

The privilege of every man born in this world is the right given by God to become His child through Jesus Christ. When we become His child we remain in His kingdom and inherit all that belongs to Him. God will take care of us and make us infinitely happy, forever in His presence. 

Once when we were abroad, a Pastor told me: “You know, Paul, God has no grandchildren at all! To Him, all are His children only. Just because your father is a child of God, you don’t become his grandchild. You are also His child. He loves you both with the same limitless love.” What a true statement! 

Yes, it is the ardent desire of our heavenly Father that we should have faith in the fact that Jesus Christ shed His innocent blood on the Cross to cleanse us of our transgressions, iniquities and sins, and that we, after this purification, are transformed. Christ’s death frees those who receive Him from the power of sin. Through the Lord Jesus Christ you have the authority and rightfully become His child. My friend, when you receive Jesus Christ, the Son of God in your life, God gives you the right to become His child. You will inherit His glorious kingdom. 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, thank You for the right You have given me as Your child. When the world rejected me You have taken me as Your child and given me authority over the world. Let thy Holy Spirit guide me and lead me in the righteous path, Amen.” 

‘You are a child of God. Know it! Love it! Live it!’
