The Path

The Almighty God promises us that He would go before us in our journey, every day. The word clearly says that we will hear a voice behind us; there are no ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ added to it. This is one of the gracious unconditional promises given by God to us.

Long ago, a man went hunting in a forest. That particular terrain was unknown to him. Therefore, a young boy accompanied him as his guide. That young boy was walking before him and guiding him all the way. They hunted the whole day. At dusk, that man said to the boy, “It is getting dark, show me a short cut to reach our lodging.” So the boy led him through a rocky, rough path covered with thorny bushes. Darkness crept in and he could not see anything. The hunter panicked and shouted, “Do you really know the way? Where are you leading me to?” Fear and frustration gripped his voice. The boy smiled at the hunter and said, “Sir, I know the way. Be calm and follow me.” He walked quickly and safely led the man out of the dense forest.

Dear friend, you may have your own apprehensions as to how this month ahead of you, would be? Perhaps you may be dismayed and confused! Indeed we do live in a chaotic world, but remember that in such circumstances our compassionate Lord reminds us, “My child, I am going before you.”

Prayer

“Our Father in Heaven, I come to You this day seeking Your precious presence with me always. Help me to know that You are always with me even unto the end of the ages. I commit this day into Your loving hands. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”

The Lord will go before you and direct your paths’

Blessing For Today

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work.  We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
