Blessing For TodaySample

“Glory, Alleluia!” 

In England, there lived a poor man who said, “Glory, Alleluia!” even while he walked. Great was his joy and love for the Lord that he had a desire to build a ‘House of Prayer’ for the Lord which he accomplished. It required a pulpit but he had only 6 shillings left in his hand. One day, he saw a cupboard for sale in a wayside auction. He began bidding for it and raised it up to 6 shillings. But his neighbor offered 7 shillings and bought it. He was heartbroken. Yet he continued to pray and praise God saying, “Glory, Alleluia!” Then, he walked his way back home. By then, the cupboard had reached the neighbor’s house but as they tried to take it in, they found out that it was one inch bigger than the doorway and would not go in. His neighbor then said to him, “Brother! Give me those 6 shillings you have and take the cupboard!” and he himself brought it in and placed it in the ‘House of Prayer.’ The poor man was amazed at the turn of events. He burst out in joy, “How great is my God! I had only 6 shillings with me. Even if I had bought the cupboard, there was no money left for its transportation. My Lord knew this and miraculously arranged free home delivery. Glory, Alleluia!” 

Whenever you pray for something, do not be discouraged when it is delayed. Continue to pray. Your bonus with your blessing is on the way. Your heart will be filled with joy to the brim. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, even before I ask, You know my needs. And I know you are a prayer answering God. You have heard my prayers. I know my supply is on the way. Remove my impatience as I wait for Your blessing. Help me to wait with patience and receive Your fullest blessing. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
