Unveiling GraceSample

Jesus is God’s Language
“Then beginning with Moses and [throughout] all the Prophets, He went on explaining and interpreting to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning and referring to Himself.” Luke 24:27 (AMPC)
The Bible is God’s ongoing conversation with humanity, and Jesus is the language He speaks. From the beginning to the end, the Scriptures point to Christ—His coming, His sacrifice, His victory, and His return. In John 1, John captures a powerful revelation of who Jesus is: “we beheld His glory full of grace and truth.”
Jesus came to establish a new order of interaction between God and man, an order of grace. Grace is God’s overwhelming desire to interact with man only based on Jesus Christ’s finished work. And this dear friend is the gospel. Here’s how Apostle Paul says it: “God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.” (2 Corinthians 5:19)
Oh, how beautiful that is! If God is not inputting our sins against us—the only one who can, why do we disqualify ourselves because of our sins and shortcomings? God desires that we stop looking to ourselves—weaknesses or even our strengths, worst or best efforts—and fully fix our eyes on Jesus and what He has done for us.
The unveiling of grace is the revelation of Jesus and the power of His life, authority, and freedom, which are available to us. Today, allow your heart to settle into this truth: everything begins and ends with Jesus.
