Unveiling GraceSample

Great Love in Action
“But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5 (NIV)
Love is the foundation on which God’s grace has been revealed to humanity. God’s grace expressed through Jesus flows from God’s great, unconditional love for you, for me, and for all peoples of the world. God did not send Jesus because humanity deserved it or because something moved Him externally—He sent Jesus because love is who He is. His love desired to bridge the gap, and through the coming of Jesus, this great love kicked into action.
We ought to find great confidence in this: God’s love found us worth dying for. The highest form of love ever demonstrated was done for us, motivated without any input from us (John 15:13). God’s love for us is not moderated by our behaviour; rather, it is constant and secure.
Understanding how much we are loved transforms how we pray, how we see ourselves, and how we relate to others. As we receive God’s love daily, we are empowered to live free from fear, condemnation, and self-focus, becoming channels of that same love to the world around us.
Declare this: God’s love towards me is bigger than me; it’s bigger than my fears, my past, my inadequacies, or my failures. I totally rely on His love for me to accomplish His great plan in me.
Reflection
How does knowing that God’s love is not based on your behaviour change the way you relate to Him?
Prayer
Dear Father, help me to be rooted and grounded in Your love for me, so that I may comprehend the width, length, depth, and height of it.
