Seek First 365: A One Year Bible Reading Plan for Daily DevotionSample

Reflection:
- What promise did Peter make to Jesus, and how did Jesus respond?
- What did Jesus pray aloud in verse 36? What type of surrender to God’s will did Jesus model for us?
- When Jesus returned to His disciples, what were they doing? How does this contrast with Jesus’s actions in the passage?
- How was Jesus arrested, and how did the disciples respond to His arrest?
Pray and Apply:
Read 2 Corinthians 12:7-10. Reflect on what it means to find strength in Christ. Where do you need strength in your faith at the moment? Are you relying on your own abilities without trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit to strengthen you? Spend a few minutes in prayer, acknowledging weak areas in your life and asking God for the strength you need to do His will.

About this Plan

Seek First 365 is a one-year Bible reading plan designed to help you build a daily rhythm of reading Scripture, meditating on God’s Word, praying, and journaling. Instead of rushing through several chapters each day, Seek First 365 invites you to slow down and focus on a single passage—or even part of a chapter. The goal isn’t speed, but transformation. Each day is crafted to help you linger in God’s Word, listen to the Spirit, and let His truth shape your heart, mind, and life.
