Seek First 365: A One Year Bible Reading Plan for Daily DevotionSample

Reflection:
- In Proverbs 2:1-5, how did the author describe the pursuit of wisdom? Is this a casual pursuit or an urgent one?
- What are the rewards of seeking wisdom as outlined in verses 6-8?
- In verses 9-11, what happens to us when wisdom enters our hearts?
Pray and Apply:
Reread Proverbs 2:1-11. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to pursue wisdom with the same urgency as described in verses 1-5. Is there a habit, interest or meditation that you need to say goodbye to in your pursuit of wisdom? Is discipline or an action needed to seek wisdom with more intention than you have in the past? Reread verses 6-8. Ask God for wisdom and thank Him for the guidance and protection Jesus has for you as you follow Him.

About this Plan

Seek First 365 is a one-year Bible reading plan designed to help you build a daily rhythm of reading Scripture, meditating on God’s Word, praying, and journaling. Instead of rushing through several chapters each day, Seek First 365 invites you to slow down and focus on a single passage—or even part of a chapter. The goal isn’t speed, but transformation. Each day is crafted to help you linger in God’s Word, listen to the Spirit, and let His truth shape your heart, mind, and life.
