Courage to Trust What You Can’t See

Reflection:

There’s a certain tension in walking by faith. You can’t see what’s next, and God rarely gives all the details. That uncertainty can make you want to pause until you feel sure—but faith doesn’t wait for proof.

God invites you to walk before the evidence shows up. Courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s the decision to move forward while fear still has a voice. When Peter stepped out of the boat to walk toward Jesus, he didn’t have all the facts. He simply had faith that the One who called him was able to keep him.

In your life, walking by faith may mean applying for the job you’re underqualified for, forgiving when reconciliation seems impossible, or trusting God with timing that doesn’t make sense. Every courageous step creates space for God to reveal Himself.

Trust isn’t built in clarity—it’s built in motion. You’ll never know how faithful He is until you take a step that requires it.

Prayer:

Father, give me courage to move forward when I can’t see the full path. Strengthen my trust to believe that You are guiding me every step of the way. When doubt rises, help me remember that faith is my anchor and Your presence is my assurance. Amen.
