Lift Your HandsSample

At some point in our life were are going to encounter pain and heartache and even betrayal. It might even come at the hands of those closests to us. However, God never asks us to pretend our pain isn’t real. He asks us to bring it to Him. When we lift our hands in surrender, we’re not denying our grief; we’re releasing it.
As long as our hands stay down, we try to carry the weight ourselves. However, when we do raise them in worship, we’re handing our burdens to the One who can truly bear them. God doesn’t just want to help us move on from our pain. He wants to move through it with us.
The challenge for all of us is to trust Him with our pain. It often feels easier to hold onto it, to protect it, to sit in it, to try and control it.
God steps into the very places that hurt the most and begins to lift the heaviness. Worship becomes the exchange point—where we trade our sorrow for His peace, our weakness for His strength.
PRAYER:
Father, I give You what’s too heavy for me to hold. Please carry my pain, heal my heart, and help me trust that You’re working even when I don’t understand why it's happening. Thank you Heavenly Father, Amen.
