Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

For all the people of my town know that you are a virtuous woman (Ruth 3:11 NKJV).
Do people know you for being morally excellent?
Ruth, a woman of virtue, shines amidst the moral decay of her time (Judges 21:25; Ruth 1:1). When faced with a crucial decision—to follow her mother-in-law and the God of Israel or return to her homeland and pagan beliefs—she chooses God and her mother-in-law. “Entreat me not to leave you… wherever you go, I will go… your God, my God” (Ruth 1:16 NKJV).
Ruth becomes a living symbol of a virtuous woman: precious to God, her husband, her family. A virtuous woman should be honored for her strength of character!
Employment Point: Bless the virtuous woman in your life.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
