Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen (Romans 9:5 NKJV).
Do you recognize your elevated position in Christ?
Paul characterizes Jesus as the “eternally blessed God.” His very nature is blessed, and therefore He desires to bless others. As believers, we are seated with Jesus in the heavenly realms, sharing in His victory over sin and death. For this reason, we are to bless God, “who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3 NKJV).
How does this reality affect how you live each day? Embrace your identity in Christ. Walk confidently, knowing that you are a child of the King, richly blessed and deeply loved. Let this truth guide you and inspire you to live boldly.
Employment Point: Practice your position and enjoy your riches in Christ.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
