Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” (Isaiah 6:3 NKJV).
When God asked, “Whom shall I send?” Isaiah volunteered, saying, “Here am I! Send me” (Isaiah 6:8 NKJV).
God reveals His glory to Isaiah. The seraphim—a classification of angels whose title means burning ones—proclaim the Lord’s holiness three times. Isaiah witnesses God’s splendor, then repents of his own sin, and offers himself to God. He responds, “Here am I! Send me” (Isaiah 6:8 NKJV).
Just as Isaiah responded to God’s call, are you ready to answer His call in your life? God has called you to preach the Gospel to all men! Embrace the opportunity to be used by God, just as Isaiah did, and commit to fulfilling His purpose for you.
Employment Point: Marvel at God’s majesty and honor your holy calling by proclaiming salvation through Jesus.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
