Who have you kept alive through your prayers?
In today’s reading, the psalmist says that God was upset with Israel for worshiping a golden calf and giving credit for their escape from Egypt to an idol. God said He would have destroyed them, but Moses prayed for them and stood in the gap (Psalm 106:23). Moses saved their lives through his prayer! Likewise, God would have punished Aaron if Moses hadn't prayed for him after the golden calf incident (Deuteronomy 9:20). This shows how powerful intercessory prayer can be—it might be the difference between life and death.
Who can you pray for today? Your prayers may have a significant impact on their lives, so take time to intercede for others and ask God to work in their situations.
