For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11 NKJV).
How confident are you that God is for you and will complete His work in you?
In today’s reading, Paul reassures us that God, who sacrificed His Son for us, is always for us. What greater sacrifice could He have offered? For this reason, Paul asks, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 NKJV). Furthermore, consider “that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come . . . shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38–39 NKJV). Nothing can separate us from His love – not even our own foolishness! God is good, and He loves His children – He has proven this fact repeatedly!
Take heart and always remember that your heavenly Father is both good and kind. Remember God’s ultimate sacrifice guarantees His unwavering support and love for His children.
