Are your desires united with God’s?
In today’s reading, we see Paul's deep yearning for the salvation of his fellow Jews, even to the point of being willing to be cast into Hell for them (Romans 9:3). This mirrors God's desire for all people to be saved. This alignment of Paul's heart with God's illustrates a great example for us to follow.
Take time to reflect on your desires and passions. Are they in harmony with God's will and His desire for the salvation and well-being of others? Pray for the Holy Spirit to align your heart with God's, developing a selfless love for others.
Employment Point: Unite your heart with Jesus’ heart and willingly lay down your life for the salvation of others.
