Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

Having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 10:19 NKJV).
Do you daily go to the Holiest?
Today's reading reveals that Jesus' death tore down the veil, granting us access to God Himself! Luke recounts that at the moment Jesus died, “Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two” (Luke 23:45 NKJV). When Jesus died, the veil tore from top to bottom, signifying access for all to the Holy of Holies.
Through Christ, let's take advantage of this access, boldly coming to “the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16 NKJV). Let's enter “by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh” (Hebrews 10:20 NKJV). Today, let's embrace this privilege of direct access to God.
Employment Point: Enter regularly the Holiest because of Jesus’ sacrifice.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
