Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask (Mark 10:35 NKJV).
What do you desire from God?
Consider James and John, who desired personal greatness, asking to sit at Jesus' right and left hand in His future kingdom. They didn't realize that greatness in God's Kingdom involves suffering and pain. Ultimately, they became great by faithfully serving God until death.
It's not wrong to desire great things in life, as long as it aligns with God's will and you’re willing to suffer as His ambassador. So, what do you desire from God today? Remember, whatever your calling, seek God's wisdom and follow His path, based on scripture for your life. Let's approach today with a heart open to God's will and wisdom, ready to accept both the joys and challenges that come with it.
Employment Point: Seek God’s wisdom to fulfill His dreams for your life.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
