When Trust Becomes TestimonySample

Trusting His Timing
Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord. (Psalm 27:14, NIV)
Waiting is hard.
For an answer. For healing. For a relationship to mend. And when we don’t see a timeline for resolution, it can be agony. As the wait stretches longer than we are comfortable with, we may be tempted to wonder whether God will come through. Does He see us? Does He care?
But we combat our doubts with belief. We hold to God’s Word and the ways He has come through for us in the past. When clouds form and the more the days go by without seeing any answers, God asks us to be strong and take heart as we wait on Him. Yet it isn’t a passive waiting; we live life and keep doing what’s in front of us, and we tell ourselves His truth until it sticks in our spirit.
Waiting stretches our faith and strengthens our character. We have seen God act before, and we believe He will act again. His timing is exactly right, even when it doesn’t appear that way. When you want to give up, hold on a little longer. God is working behind the scenes. We don’t see it, but we believe.
The truth for today is: We can trust God’s timing. It is always perfect.
Prayer:
Lord, this wait is hard. Help me to trust that You are at work, and You know the best timing. Lead me to wait with courage and strengthen my faith in the meantime. Amen.
Reflection Question:
What are you waiting on God for, and how can you use this time to draw closer to Him?

About this Plan

When life feels uncertain and the ground beneath us shifts, we need more than vague hope—we need a firm foundation in the unchanging character of the One who holds all things together. God invites us to anchor our lives in who He is: good, faithful, merciful, sovereign, loving, and more. This thirty-day plan shows us His character, teaches us to trust, and challenges us to live it out.
