When Trust Becomes Testimony

DAY 12 OF 30

Trusting His Strength

He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak. (Isaiah 40:29, NIV)

We can feel awfully weak. Sometimes, it’s all we can do to make it out of bed and get through the day. Life wears us down. People depend on us. We have work demands and all the to-dos and the pressure to keep it all up. We pride ourselves on being busy when it really breaks us down. We swirl, strive, and try to keep up, but we just can’t.

That’s okay. We aren’t meant to keep up and do it all. God knows we are human; He created us that way. We have limitations. We have capacity caps. And we need to slow down.

Your weakness isn’t a liability – it’s an invitation to take in God’s strength. When we ask Him to help us when we feel inadequate, He powers us through His strength and sustains us with His endurance. He loves carrying what we can’t. And He loves it when we come to Him with our tiredness and trust. Give Him what you can’t hold onto anymore. Let His strength grow in your frailty.

The truth for today is: We can trust God’s strength. He loves working through our weakness.

Prayer:

Father, sometimes I feel so weak. You say You will give me strength and increase my power through Your Spirit. Carry what I can’t and see me through. Amen.

Reflection Question:

What area of weakness do you need to entrust to God’s strength today?

About this Plan

When Trust Becomes Testimony

When life feels uncertain and the ground beneath us shifts, we need more than vague hope—we need a firm foundation in the unchanging character of the One who holds all things together. God invites us to anchor our lives in who He is: good, faithful, merciful, sovereign, loving, and more. This thirty-day plan shows us His character, teaches us to trust, and challenges us to live it out.
