Bible App for Kids – Discover God’s Big StorySample

TODAY’S STORY
Two by Two from Genesis 6:5-9:17
Note to the parents:
This story may cause some children to fear rain. Use this as an opportunity to turn their fear into faith by sharing that every time they see a rainbow in the sky, they can remember God’s promise never to flood the whole earth again.
Help your child recall the story by asking simple questions about what happened.
Examples:
- How was Noah different from the other people?
- What did God tell Noah to build?
- What did Noah take on the boat?
Together, think about what you have learned. Invite your child to ask you the question.
Encourage them to add their thoughts or fill in a blank when prompted.
What did we learn about GOD?
- God feels sad when people forget Him and live in bad ways, but He still loves us.
- God is able to protect us.
What did we learn about PEOPLE?
- People can decide if they want to learn about God and do what He says.
- When they do, they can find hope and safety in God.
What do you want to say to God after reading this story? (Prayer)
Let's pray together.
God,
Thank You for keeping Noah safe during the flood.
I know You can keep me safe, too.
(Name ways God can keep you safe.)
Amen.
Build anticipation for tomorrow:
Tomorrow’s story is about a man named Abraham and how God helped him do hard things.
