Lent | Week 4: Jesus' Journey to the CrossSample

Peter Denies Jesus
Peter was one of Jesus’ closest friends. But when fear and pressure hit, he denied knowing Jesus at all. It’s a painful moment, but it’s also incredibly human.
We all make mistakes and fall short, sometimes when we least expect it. But what’s beautiful is that even after Peter’s denial, Jesus still loved him and later restored him.
We all mess up. Whether it’s a mistake we regret or a failure we’re struggling to forgive ourselves for, Jesus is there to restore us. Take a moment today to reflect on the areas in your life where you’ve fallen short, and know that Jesus is waiting to restore and heal you.
Pray: Jesus, thank you for your grace and forgiveness. Help me turn back to you, no matter how many times I fall. Restore me and help me stand firm in my faith. Amen.

About this Plan

As we move through Lent, we reflect on some of Jesus' most intense moments: his betrayal, arrest, and ultimate sacrifice. These moments remind us that following God’s will isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it. This week, let’s reflect on what it means to choose God’s path, even when it’s hard, and to extend love and grace to others in the face of challenges.
