Lent | Week 4: Jesus' Journey to the CrossSample

The Path of Obedience
Imagine you’re facing something incredibly hard. You know you could avoid it, but you choose to walk through it anyway because it’s part of something bigger than yourself. That’s exactly what Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane. He asked God if there was another way, but then he surrendered, trusting that God’s plan was the best one.
In our own lives, we’re often faced with tough decisions – things we’d rather avoid or change. But Jesus shows us that obedience, even when it's hard, brings us closer to God’s heart. What’s something you’re struggling to surrender to him right now? How can you trust him to guide you through it?
Pray: God, help me follow Jesus’ example of obedience. Even when it’s tough, I want to trust you and surrender to your will. Amen.

About this Plan

As we move through Lent, we reflect on some of Jesus' most intense moments: his betrayal, arrest, and ultimate sacrifice. These moments remind us that following God’s will isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it. This week, let’s reflect on what it means to choose God’s path, even when it’s hard, and to extend love and grace to others in the face of challenges.
