Thy Kingdom ComeSample

“Our Father…your will be done” - forming the character of the Kingdom in ourselves.
We often pray: “Your will be done”, but deep inside our hearts, we want things to go our way. God’s Will is not always the easy road. It often leads to changes, meekness, and obedience. But it is in God’s Will that we find true freedom, peace, and maturity.
It is not the logic of selfishness that reigns in God’s Kingdom, but the logic of love. Being the carrier of the Kingdom means not only knowing God’s principles but accepting them as our own. Patience, truthfulness, forgiveness, and sacrifice are the Will of the Father, and we’re called to not merely talk about it, but to live it out.
This prayer is an invitation to a profound renewal. We are not just asking God to do something, but letting Him change us, forming the character of His Son.
Question to ask yourself:
Am I indeed open to God’s will, even when it doesn’t correspond with my personal desires?
What traces of the Kingdom do I already possess, and what do I still need to work on?
Today God quietly invites you to live not according to your own scenario, but according to His wise, good will.
Hand all the control into His Hands. Trust His leadership, and you’ll see your heart changing, as well as the world around.
Trust your longings, habits, and goals to the One, Who knows what’s best for you:
•Prayer for your own heart:
Father, help me not only to talk about the Kingdom, but truly to be the carrier of Its values.
•Prayer for your close ones:
Father, help my friends to build their lives upon the principles of Your Kingdom.
•Prayer for the country:
Father, let Your holy will be worked out in the lives of our governmental bodies.
•Worship prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your will is unveiled and clear.
