Through the Word: Knowing God, Making Him KnownSample

Jesus is the Lord of the Harvest:
Jesus describes the world as a ripe harvest field, meaning that no matter how dark or challenging the world may seem, there are people who are ready and willing to receive the gospel—just like you once did!
Despite the brokenness around us, there are hearts prepared to hear the good news. Jesus then instructs us to pray to the Lord of the harvest to send more workers. But here's the beautiful truth—you are the answer to that prayer! You are the worker. He is calling to go and labor in the field. You are the one to share the gospel with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone you come in contact with. How incredible it is that Jesus loves you so much and trusts you with the message of His salvation!
Take a moment to sit in prayer and ask God to give you insights and guidance on how to reach His people. Pray for the hearts of those around you, and for opportunities to share His love and truth. You are part of His plan to bring the harvest in
