Through the Word: Knowing God, Making Him KnownSample

Boldness of the Holy Spirit In You:
As followers of Jesus, we’re not called to live in our own strength—but in full dependence on God and the power of His Spirit. On our own, we may feel weak or unequipped to share the Gospel or advance the Kingdom, but God never intended for us to do it alone. Jesus promised that we would do even greater works than He did (John 14:12 NIV). That may sound impossible—but He meant it. Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, opened blind eyes, and set captives free. And He invites us to step into that same Spirit-empowered ministry—not because of who we are, but because of who He is in us. The Holy Spirit is our source of boldness, power, and guidance. He fills us not just to comfort us, but to commission us.
Through spiritual gifts—like healing, teaching, wisdom, prophecy, hospitality, and more—God equips us to carry out the work Jesus began. These gifts are not for our own benefit or recognition, but for building the Church and reaching the world. This is more than a task; it’s an invitation to live in deep dependence on God. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11 NIV). So go boldly—not in your own ability, but in the power of the One who lives in you. Pray for the sick. Speak truth in love. Serve with joy. Love sacrificially. Trust God to move powerfully as you step out in faith.
