Connect With God Through Creation | 7-Day Devotional

DAY 5 OF 7

RENEWAL

Many countries have four main seasons, where each season has its own characteristics and themes. Winter is usually dark, cold, and wet. Things start to die and come to an end, preparing for new life to come. Spring has the opposite effect. It’s the season where things start to sprout, grow, and become warm again. There’s an increase in energy and a certain buzz in the air! Summer brings up heat and rain, while the autumn cool breeze ushers the transition of trees from being alive to dormant.

As the earth reflects God’s design of life, our spiritual lives go through seasons too. There are seasons in your spiritual life that things need to grow, be sustained, get pruned, or be transformed. As you connect with God through creation, ask Him which season represented in nature you may be in now. Then ask Him how you can better steward this season more intentionally.

PRAYER

Jesus, thank You for the beauty of each season. Show me what season I may be in and how I can steward it more intentionally, so that I could bring You glory! You have a time for everything. May I remain in Your will for this season. In Jesus' name, amen.

APPLICATION

Go outside and ask the Lord to speak to you about what season you may be in.

Ask Him to reveal areas or things in your life that need to be planted, pruned, or uprooted.

About this Plan

Connect With God Through Creation | 7-Day Devotional

There is only one way to God, and it's through Jesus. But in Jesus, there are many ways to connect with God. One way is through creation. Connecting with God through creation is when you feel His presence, hear His voice, or are moved to worship. Through this devotional, our goal is that your relationship with God will grow as you draw closer to Him through His creation.
