Connect With God Through Creation | 7-Day DevotionalSample

INTENTIONAL AND PURPOSEFUL
God created all things with purpose and design. He knew exactly where to place everything He created when He spoke them into existence. The creation story in Genesis 1-2 emphasizes that God saw what He made and declared it “good.” Everything in creation, from heaven to earth, was crafted with the intent and purpose of reflecting the Creator.
Creation was not a one-time event but is actively sustained by the Lord. God is holding the universe like He holds you. The sun, stars, earth, moon, tide, rivers, and mountains all exist and move because God tells them to. From the most beautiful, sweet little flower to the largest, majestic mammal, God created everything for a reason! As you encounter God through creation, you get to receive a revelation of His intent and purpose not only for the nature around you but also His most beloved creation—you!
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for how intentional You were in creating me and everything around me! Open my eyes to see Your heart behind every thing You made. I ask that You bring me into a place of supernatural encounter through the natural things around me. In Jesus' name, amen.
APPLICATION
- As you observe God's creation, ask Him about the purpose of some of the most “mundane” things you see, like the bug or a plant.
- Interact with God's creation—His masterpiece! Lie on the grass and feel the steady ground the Lord has made for you, or pick up a ladybug and wonder how this tiny creature was made by the Lord to bless you.
- As part of the Lord's creation, ask Him to reveal His purpose about your life, your unique qualities that set you apart.
About this Plan

There is only one way to God, and it's through Jesus. But in Jesus, there are many ways to connect with God. One way is through creation. Connecting with God through creation is when you feel His presence, hear His voice, or are moved to worship. Through this devotional, our goal is that your relationship with God will grow as you draw closer to Him through His creation.
