Day 17: The Bleeding Woman – Strength to Reach for Healing

Scripture: Mark 5:21-34
Key Verse: “She said, ‘If I just touch His clothes, I will be healed.’” – Mark 5:28

For twelve years, this woman had suffered. She had spent all her money on doctors, yet her condition only worsened. According to Jewish law, she was considered unclean, which made her an outcast. But when she heard about Jesus, hope stirred within her.

Despite her weakness, she pressed through the crowd, reaching for just the hem of His garment. Instantly, she was healed. Jesus stopped to acknowledge her healing and affirm her faith: “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

Sometimes, strength isn’t about standing tall but about reaching out in faith. This woman’s desperation turned into determination. She refused to let her suffering keep her from Jesus. No matter how broken you feel, His power is within reach. He sees you, He cares, and He is willing to restore.
