You could bring the most expensive or rare things as an offering to the Lord. You could offer all your money, but He is not looking for a gift. That is not His desire. He desires you, broken and contrite. Recognize your need for Him. He will not despise you because of your need or your brokenness. He is waiting for you today. Come to him with your shortcomings, hurt, and wounds. Come to Him. Allow Him to begin the work of creating a pure heart within you. He will not only cleanse you but will begin to renew your spirit, making you steadfast.
Inhale: Create in me a pure heart, O God
Exhale: and renew a steadfast spirit within me
