There are many comparisons between Jesus as a shepherd and us as His sheep. He showcases His love and care for His children. He is the door, the only way to heaven. He knows us, inside and out. He protects us. He gave his life for us. Nothing can compare to His love for us as His children.
The greatest comfort of all is that “no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” God holds the entire world in his hand, and He holds us too. What an amazing God we serve!
