King & KingdomsSample

Psalm 51 is set against the backdrop of one of David's darkest moments. Desire led to sin and sin led to death, and all because of David's own choices. In these verses are David's own wrestling: God had been so good to him and now he feared his failure would take all that away. Which makes sense: most of our relationships have a limit. It might be really far out, it might take a lot, but we all have a line that would be too far. And imagine that's how God has to be too.
But David knew something about God we need to learn: He will never reject a broken and contrite heart. That's the open door to God.
Think it Over: If you were God, would you have a line people couldn't cross?
