REFLECT + FOCUS

From before you were born, God knew you, and prepared good works for you to do!

Listen to these amazing words:

“For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

He didn’t want to do it alone - God wanted a family of believers to do His works - that’s why Jesus said to the disciples:

“But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.” John 16:7

And:

“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12

Jesus was limited to just one physical body for his 33 years, but now in the Holy Spirit millions of Christians - “little Christs” - are running around doing the “good works” that he has prepared for us.

We ARE the righteousness of God! Not one day, not when we die. Right now.

We are the ones through whom God wants to display His righteousness - physically, and visibly.

We are vessels of the Holy Spirit to display His kindness and goodness to a broken and bound-up world.

All the more reason for us to get fully free!

The more the Holy Spirit has of me, the more free I am to be myself and be the person God has made me in Christ - and the more I will release his goodness, kindness and righteousness to bless the world around me.

SHOUT

As you declare today’s shout, don’t think “one day” - declare right now “I am free from sin” and “I am the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

I’m free from sin and I have become
a slave of righteousness.
Romans chapter 6 verse 18
