Have you ever felt like your life was meant for more?

I’ll raise my hand first because I have often felt like this. You may be in a season where you feel stuck, frustrated, and lacking clarity for the future. Maybe you once had a dream, but now it seems impossible. Those seasons can and will crush your spirit if you allow it. Can I challenge your thinking for a moment? What if instead of focusing on your problem, you focus on the problem solver?

What do I mean by that?

What if, instead of filling your mind with what is not happening in your life, you fill it with faith in God’s Word? What if your victory was just one day away? What if The Power of a Day was closer than you realize?

Do you remember the story of Joseph?

Take some time to read Genesis 39 - 41. If you remember, Joseph was in Potiphar’s house because his brothers sold him as a slave. However, Joseph was faithful. Joseph was a hard worker, and it says, “everything Joseph did was successful.” Potiphar’s house was successful because of Joseph.

Even after Joseph was wrongfully accused, he was patient and steadfast. Joseph continued to use his gift of interpreting dreams. It was as if he knew and felt this idea of The Power of a Day.

Finally, Joseph’s moment arrived. Pharaoh needed help interpreting his dream. Joseph was prepared, trusted God, interpreted the dream, and was promoted from prison to the palace.

It was only the day before Joseph was a slave. It was only a day before no one knew his name. It was only the day before he was dressed in rags. It was only the day before he was sleeping in a disgusting prison.

The Power of a Day is closer than you know.

What about you? What promise do you need to hold onto?

What dream do you need to resurrect?

What promise have you buried which needs a burst of life?

What has God placed in your heart?

I wonder what would happen in your life if you remained steadfast like Joseph?

I wonder what miracle is closer than you realize?

I wonder what The Power of Day could look like in your life?

I wonder what dream is being awakened right now?

I’ve had my dreams destroyed many times, and it hurts. This is when I review and reflect upon God’s grace in my life.

I shouldn’t have been born. I shouldn’t have gone to college. A Fortune 500 company shouldn’t have employed me. A renowned televangelist shouldn’t have hired me. I shouldn’t have run a successful 6-figure business. I shouldn’t have married a Godly woman. I shouldn’t be a good father. I shouldn’t have led a multi-million dollar Kingdom business.

I want to challenge you in your steadfastness to the Lord.

Ephesians 6:13 says, “When you have done everything to stand, stand some more.” Use the armor of God every single day in every situation.

The Power of a Day is closer than you know. If Joseph could go from the prison to the palace, I wonder what God has in store for you.
